Sibelius' great love of the violin compelled him to write his famous Violin Concerto in 1903. This recording couples the concerto with familiar tone poem en saga and seldom heard Serenade Op.69 No.2 for violin and orchestra. Serenade's bouncing rhythm is reminiscent of the first theme of the Violin Concerto's finale.

Tracks:
1.1 Allegro Moderato
1.2 Adagio Di Molto
1.3 Allegro, Ma Non Tanto
1.4 Serenade in G minor, Op. 69, No. 2
1.5 En Saga, Op. 9
