Three CD collection. The Many Faces of Pink Floyd is a wonderful and truly stunning album: A labor of love which is rarely seen on today's market. The first disc of the triple album contains The Dark Side Of The Moon covered in full by luminaries of the global rock scene (members of King Crimson, Yes, The Doors, Toto and Asia, among others). On the second disc, the ten fundamental songs of The Wall, two of Wish You Were Here and two classics from the psychedelic era by musicians such as Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Ian Anderson or those British freaks British Psychic TV, among many others. The third disc, meanwhile, is even more spectacular as it presents material from all the great musicians who participated in the group's records: saxophonist Dick Parry ('Money', 'Us And Them'), singer Clare Torry ('The Great Gig in The Sky'), guitarist Snowy White (the tours of Animals and Roger Waters solo), producer Norman Smith (The Piper At The Gates of Dawn) and keyboardist Peter Wood (the tour of The Wall) and there are even songs by the obscure bluesmen who inspired the leader Syd Barrett to christen the band: Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. With remastered sound and beautiful cover art, The Many Faces of Pink Floyd is a unique album: a work that every fan of the group will enjoy, learn and marvel, and to spend a memorable time and treasure in their collection.
