The CD and Blu-ray special deluxe edition is an SACD hybrid version using DSD masters, and the SACD contains 17 tracks (excluding the MC) from the first and second halves of the concert. The Blu-ray includes the entire concert, plus interviews with John Williams and Stefan Denève, recorded especially for this release. John Williams, a legend who has shaped the history and sound of film music, visited Japan last September for the first time in 30 years and performed with the Saito Kinen Orchestra for the first time in a concert on the album "John Williams in Tokyo". John Williams has been a leading figure in Hollywood film music for over 50 years, winning five Academy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and a total of 26 Grammy Awards, including the recent Grammy Award for "Best Instrumental Composition" at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. He is a legendary composer and conductor.
