Yves' 4th EP [NAIL] shifts the focus from the "inner self" to the body-capturing it's changing states through sensation. Here, sensation isn't just a feeling, but the moment something fits so naturally that it needs no explanation. Some sensations are universal; others belong to one person alone. And sometimes, even a feeling that clashes with your own taste still has a strange, persuasive pull. When placed in front of taste and sensation, the usual boundaries-nation, race, gender, language-start to dissolve. You don't need shared words for a sensation to connect people, even if only for a moment. This EP looks toward that point of connection. Instead of defining what sensation is, it records the moments where it aligns and becomes shared.
