Depending on the listener, it may be called a collection of superb samples.The treasured recordings of the famous guitarist Masaki Matsubara, who has participated in the works of many artists such as Yumi Matsutoya, Seiko Matsuda, Masashi Sada, Akina Nakamori, and Kyoko Koizumi, and whose guitar sound resonated through hit songs from the 70s and 80s, are released as a short story collection on 7 inches. In addition to the songs that are the source of samples for the simultaneously released Masaki Matsubara & B.D. 'HITOHIRA', it also includes parts of unreleased recordings and superb guitar phrases cut out from the studio. The content changes depending on the listener, so you can enjoy it as an unreleased short story collection by Masaki Matsubara, or as a superb LIBRARY sound source, with DJ-use breaks in addition to guitar phrases. With the cooperation of Masaki Matsubara's wife, keyboardist Masae Nanbu, this album was released as a Sample Library sound source with various ways to enjoy it.Masaki Matsubara ProfileA guitarist born in Takefu City, Fukui Prefecture (now Echizen City) in 1954. He started playing guitar in junior high school and became interested in bands. After playing in a US military camp band, he became one of Japan's leading session guitarists. He has participated in the works of many artists, including Yumi Matsutoya, Seiko Matsuda, Masashi Sada, Akina Nakamori, and Kyoko Koizumi. He has recorded over 10,000 songs. Starting with his first album as leader, Ryuumu Sand, in 1978, he released 24 solo albums. In 1979, he formed the band PARACHUTE, which gained popularity. In 2000, he founded the indie label Rocking Chair Records, which was active until his death in 2016.Profile of Masae NanbuBorn and raised in Obihiro, Hokkaido. She started attending an electone music class at the age of eight, learning chords, and composing and playing songs. After winning several prizes at the JOC (Junior Original Competition) and the national and world championships of senior competitions, she moved to Tokyo after graduating from high school and worked as a player for the Yamaha Music Foundation for four years. After that, she became a freelancer and worked on composing and arranging music for many commercials. In 2000, she launched the indie label Rocking Chair Records with her husband, guitarist (the late Masaki Matsubara), and has released many albums, mainly produced in her home studio.
