Hiromi Suda Vocalist ?Brazilian/ Jazz She won the world scholarship and entered Berklee college of music. After she entered Berklee, she studied Jazz vocal with Ms. Lisa Thorson. And I studied Latin American music with Ms. Mili Bermejo. During summer in 2007 she spent three months in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to study Brazilian music styles and learned Brazilian instrument called pandeiro. She attended the choro school called Escola Portatil de Musica. She studied pardeiro with Celsinho Silva and Jorginho Silva. And she studied choro vocal style with the choro singer, Amelia Rabello. Also she took vocal lesson with the Brazilian vocalist Suely Mesuqita. In addition she studied Portuguese with Julia Vidal. Furthermore she did recording with Brazilian guitarist Pedro Braga in Rio de Janeiro. After she got back form Brazil she performed with the choro group called choro democratico and Fernando Brandao (Fl.) at Brazilian 13th independence day festival, Ryles Jazz club and University of Massachusetts. She also performed at La Luna caffe in Boston with her own band. After she graduated from Berklee she moved to NY.
