Buenos Aires born pianist, Guillermo Klein has now stepped limelight of the American jazz scene, making new waves around the US with his recent performances and new recordings. He started composing from the age of eleven and at fifteen, was already writing music for his school plays. Whilst at Berklee, he began writing for Latin bands but focused mainly on his studies and the creation of his eclectic, international 17-piece orchestra - Big Van featured here. The band's profile grew and for many years, they played every Sunday at Small's Jazz Club in Greenwich Village, NY.
