The Rockin' Spot is a late-night music club that plays the living end of Rock 'n' Roll, Rockabilly, and Rhythm & Blues music with the moving and grooving titillating rhythms on volume 02 Louise Atomicat Records (ACCD130) being sourced from the years 1953 through to 1962. Louise (ACCD130) is the second volume in the series and the name-dropping titles include; Budd Albright, Adrienne, The Del Vikings featuring Gus Backus, Jitterbug Mary, Big John Greer, Come Back Uncle John, The Novatones, Mary Lee, Andy Anderson and The Rolling Stone, Johnny Valentine, The Elgins Cheryl, Roy Gaines Loud Mouth Lucy and many more. Between the thematic titles you hear tunes with a rhythm and rock beat including; The Chimes, Love Me, Love Me, Love Me, The Hi-Tombs, Sweet Rockin' Mama, Chuck Berry, Rip It Up, and, The Creel Sisters, Stop The Clock Rock, Bobby Woods Love Is My Business. Little Willie John gives an invitation for a Dinner Date, and there must be a spark of love for LaVern Baker closes the album with an ode of love, My Happiness Forever. The album is stuffed full of dance songs, with numerous artists being mostly unknown, but not lacking in star quality! The albums comprise of rhythmic sounds and are perfect for Dee Jays who will find numerous dance-floor filling titles, the home listener, and those who wish to own albums that are not full of overly reissued titles. The album is compiled and annotated by well-known Dee Jay and face on the music scene Mark Armstrong, who has been Dee Jaying since his early teen years. The concept is brought visually to life by design artist Alf Button and the recordings are remastered at The Studio That Time Forgot, El Paso, Texas.
