In 2020, Funkindustry discovers it's audience in Japan. After 3 years of work, the band will release on June 23, 2023 "Midnight City Lovers" a 5 tracks EP in collaboration with 5 Japanese singers. A real tribute to City-Pop music with the Funkindustry style, this new opus is tinged with disco, boogie and funk sounds. Inspired by the great names of City-Pop, such as Tatsuro Yamashita or Mariya Takeuchi, Funkindustry makes us discover a new face of it's musical palette. The album features iconic singers from the current Japanese City Pop scene: Asako Toki, Natsu Summer, Eri Takenaka, JiLL-Decoy Association and EMI. The release of the new album will be accompanied by a Japanese tour between Osaka and Tokyo from June 14 to 28, 2023.
