Triple CD 'Definitive Collection' by R&B legends Crown Heights Affair. This package includes five tracks from the band's self-titled RCA debut album, which has not been available physically for many years. This 'Definitive Collection' contains the full album versions of all Crown Heights Affair's hits and as a bonus you also get five 7" versions as well. The band were from Crown Heights, a small neighbourhood in Brooklyn, due to high unemployment, soaring crime and racial tension in the area it seemed obvious to call their new band The Crown Heights Affair. Their debut album was released on RCA in 1973, yielding their first placement on the R&B chart with 'Leave The Kids Alone', by mutual consent in 1975 the band moved to the De- Lite label and the hits started coming, including 'Dreaming A Dream', 'Foxy Lady', 'Dancin', 'Dance Lady Dance' and the international hits 'Galaxy Of Love' and 'You Gave Me Love'.
