Genre: Jazz Traditional

Whilst it was 'Stranger on the Shore' that proved a major hit in 1962, Acker Bilk was already well on his way to establishing a veritable reputation for himself prior to that success. Earlier hits such as 'Summer Set' had made his name, whilst his work with his own Paramount Jazz Band had kept his name at the top of the jazz tree as the 1950s came to a close. This album, recorded in 1960 shows him at his best and about to break big. Hallmark.
