2014 release. Aïsha Devi's second release, the gripping, trance-inducing Hakken Dub/Throat Dub 12 on her Danse Noire label. The heavy Hakken Dub clocks in at rapid-fire 160 BPM, a gabber tribute anthem retooled into something ethereally new yet club-friendly. Throat Dub (Tool) features Devi's guttural vocals processed and layered into ten minutes of incredibly provocative drones. IVVVO (Crème Organization, Public Information, Opal Tapes) delivers a slinking techno take on Hakken Dub while Hieroglyphic Being turns in an insane sidewinding take on Throat Dub sourced almost completely from Devi's vocals.
