(2-CD set) This double CD release simply entitled "Messiah" is regarded as one of the best choral pieces of music, whether from a classical or religious view point. Messiah is an English oratorio composed by George Frideric Handel, an English composer of German Birth. This beloved piece of music is a live recording of a concert in Adolfo Fredric church in Stockholm, Sweden on February 13th and 14th, 1982. Featuring members of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Anders Ohrwall "Messiah" contains 3 movements, however, the "Hallelujah" chorus at the end of the 2nd movement is the most famous. This recording has been mastered by the new Ultra High Definition 32-Bit Mastering process, which creates an unbelievable sound surpassing other formats. This Ultra HD 32-Bit mastered CD will play on all CD players.
