2007 reissue of the Melbourne quartet's debut EP. Originally released in 1998 on Half a Cow Records, it has now been re-released in standard digipak. A truly stunning independent act reminiscent of all that is good about Touch n' Go Records and Death Cab for Cutie. The debut six-tracker paints a picture of a band who aren't afraid to let the tunes take their time in worming their way into your consciousness. Likened to slo-core acts such as Codeine, Low and Red House Painters, guitarist/singer Ollie Browne also knows how to pen a Pop hook to keep one from falling away into dreamland, as can be evidenced in opener 'Sliding'. a certain lyrical darkness borne of self-doubt and depression shadows the release, and the beautiful packaging is just to die for. Half a Cow.
