In this new release from the West Chester University, Andrew Yozviak and the Wind Ensemble present works by Richard Danielpour, Samuel Barber, William Schuman, and David Del Tredici. The West Chester University Wind Ensemble features approximately fifty-five of the finest wind and percussion musicians in the School of Music and is one of four wind bands at the university. This auditioned group is dedicated to the performance of quality wind repertoire throughout all periods of music history. The ensemble presents numerous programs on and off campus each year and regularly entertains guest artists. Most recently Donald Hunsberger, Frank Battisti, William Berz, Joseph Turrin, Eric Ewazen, John Mackey, Tim McAllister, Eric Aubier, The Canadian Brass, and Alan Vizzutti have collaborated with the group.
