One of the most impressive narrations set to music in the romantic era, Brahms's Die schone Magelone (1861) is a song cycle comprised of fifteen individual songs. The text for the songs were written by Ludwig Tieck. They were published as the composer's 33rd Opus in five volumes of three songs each in 1865 and 1869. Armin Kolarczyk was born in Italy to a very musical family, and he cannot imagine a life without music. Thanks to his professor Ada Zapperi (Munich), he got a well-founded singing education. Having many appearances in numerous cities and countries, he enjoys to get to know different cultures and people. In 2017 and 2018 he was booked for the Bayreuther Festspiele. He is joined by pianist Stefan Veselka as well as Kathrin Busch
