Hailing from The Bronx NYC, Brainwash 2000 - consisting of former 3rd Eye & The Group Home member T.R.O.O.K.U.L.A. aka Troo Kula & Naut Jugga - made crazy noise in 1996/97 with the rugged underground banger Break It Down (released on 12 b/w King of Demos), which even made it onto the infamous Haze Presents New York Reality Check 101 - Mixed By DJ Premier compilation. The duo followed up with a second very dope and mad rare 12 entitled Funk And Dues / Next Shit in 1998. Ill Adrenaline Records proudly present the official re-issue of the original Funk And Dues / Next Shit 12 that became one of the most sought after and highly valued records of 90's indie rap.
