BROOM, MARK: Twenty Nine 12" (BPC 119EP). on Twenty Nine, Mark Broom, legendary techno head and frontrunner in classic, deep and minimal techno since 1994, shows an inclination to add a new soundpiece to the Berlin sonic mosaic. The title track is re-arranged in a grand gesture by embracing electronica and spheric soundscapes. "Together" primarily aims at the distribution of serotonin before it gets to your feet - but once it does, it lasts. Meanwhile, "Rock n' Roller" is reminiscent of surreal dreams and an acid-driven robot whose four tends to get stuck.
