Yoandri Castro Max, (Max Max) is a charismatic composer, singer and performer. He studied singing at the ISA (Instituto Superior de Arte) in Havana studying with the teacher María Eugenia Barrios and taking master classes with the Italian teacher Emmanuela Marcante. In 2003 as well as performing at various venues in Havana he traveled to the Dominican Republic invited by the group 'Anibal Bravo and his Orchestra' where he took part in festivals and sang in the popular meringue band 'Jossie Esteban and the Fifteen Patrol' and shared scenarios with artists including Johnny Ventura, Quinito Méndez, Sergio Vargas, Fernando Villalona and Juan Luis Guerra. In 2004 he returned to Cuba and became the lead singer of group Tomezclao, recording an album called 'Hibrid' and toured with the band in the UK, performing at the Glastonbury Festival and 'Africa Oye' festival in Liverpool. After his return to Cuba he sang alongside Leo Vera in 'Klimax' Cuban Popular Music Orchestra, under the direction of musician and composer Giraldo Piloto Barreto. In 2010 he participated in '100 Sones de Cuba' documentary at under the direction of Edesio Alejandro In 2011 he performed in the musical 'Que Bola' directed by the Italian composer Tancredi Dolfus. At this time he was also being a member of the group 'El Chispa y los Cómplices'. In 2012 he joined the musical theatre company 'Yoldance' performing in the musical 'Bésame Mucho'. He travelled to Mexico and sang alongside with the singer María Antonieta, for the International Fair of the state of Tabasco. He then joined 'Pupy y los que Son' orchestra and toured with them in Europe, Latin America and the USA. He was with the band almost 5 years He also took part in the recording of the production of Johnny Ventura 'Tronco Viejo' album. Bar de Paco is his debut album after a very long and successful career
