With it's driving, infectious beat, it's no wonder the Ramones chose to cover Chris Montez' early rock'n'roll classic, "Let's Dance," on their debut album. Though he was always more popular in the UK, this Southern California born and raised Latino rocker remains influential on both sides of the Atlantic, and beyond. Born Ezekiel Christopher Montanez, Montez was so popular in the UK that he had the Beatles opening for HIM on tour. He no doubt influenced their early rock and roll aspirations and remains a legend to this day. His debut album with 12 early rock classics is available again on LP for the first time in years.
