One of the most original and colorful bands of that era, The Great Disco Bouzouki Band, married the unlikely sounds of Greek Bouzouki music to disco music, and it worked beautifully, exposing the fact that these two forms of music, above all else, was dance music at it's core. Looking back, it is not surprising that The Great Disco Bouzouki Band scored a hit with "Disco Bouzouki."
