Read by stage and radio actor David Kurlan, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" (1820) tells the tale of schoolmaster Ichabod Crane, who is chased through the Hudson River Valley by a headless horseman. The story has been rendered many times in theaters, on television and film (including an animated Disney version). The text of the story appears in the liner notes.
