The leaders of exotica's turn-of-the-21st-century revival make their vinyl debut with Aloha Got Soul in 2021. Hot Like Lava collects the group's top instrumentals for an exhilarating, paradisiacal ride through the world of tiki subculture. Don Tiki debuted from Honolulu in 1997 with the album, The Forbidden Sounds of Don Tiki, featuring the legendary Martin Denny in what would become one of his final recordings before his passing. Deepening Don Tiki's roots is the band's percussionist and bird caller, Lopaka Colon, son of exotica's founding member, Augie Colon.
