"New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh" skips the politics and injustice at the heart of so many of Badu's recordings. This time she brings in lush live instrumentation for an even warmer sound. Who'd have thought she'd go for a Theremin, among other instruments? Yet, this is a playful album full of whimsy in both it's lyrics and music. It isn't as if Erykah has lost her touch so much as she has gotten in touch with her inner muse. Fans agree it is a great album, having sent it all the way up to #4 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's biggest hits are "Window Seat" and "Turn Me Away (Get Munny)".
