In an album made in 2000, supported financially by the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and released originally on the German Christophorus label, Dominique Vellard directed the Ensemble Cantus Figuratus in a four-part Mass by Pedro Escobar (commercially baptised as Missa in Granada) in a performance employing voices and instruments, which allows us to appreciate in all it's splendour the talent of this Portuguese-born composer who was active principally in Spain.
