Not only did she originate the title role in Fanny, but she also made her mark in several other Broadway hits. She is heard here singing 24 great songs from the Broadway shows Fiorello, the Sound of Music, Flower Drum Song, Gypsy, Carousel, Fanny, the Gay Divorce and Oklahoma. Most of the recordings presented here are new to CD. This is a beautiful collection of songs, sung by one of the most talented Broadway divas.
