2014 remastered Funk & Jazz Classics series reissue of the 1974 album. Session musicians include Stanley Clarke, Cecil &Dee Dee Bridgewater & Elvin Jones. This album was rediscovered by the acid jazz scene in the early 90s & is now considered a classic by collectors & DJs looking for samples. Foster is best known as one of the key members of Count Basie's Orchestra in the 1950s as player, arranger and composer he wrote the standard Shiny Stockings. In the 60s his solo work took a more modern bent and he worked with many of the most progressive young players of the time. Includes deluxe booklet with in-depth notes rare photos from the session.
