(2-CD set) on the occasion of the 40th birthday of Frank Gratkowski in 2003, the Moers Jazz Festival and the Loft Koeln put together the Loft Exile V project in which Frank Gratkowski could realize his ideas. For this project Frank invited a dream line-up: Herb Robertson on trumpet, Wolter Wierbos on trombone, Dieter Manderscheid and Wilbert DeJoode on basses, Gerry Hemingway and Michael Vatcher on drums, and Tobias Delius and himself on saxophones.
