Dreyer Gaido, based in Monster and founded in 2001 by Michael Dreyer and Hugo Germaín Gaido, has acquired an outstanding reputation in the classic scene by providing excellent classical music productions. The label just recently started a new series, Eastern Voices, which will feature some of the most renowned Middle East artists such as Ibrahim Keivo and Alim Qasimov (who has worked with Jeff Buckley and the Kronos Quartet). on this live recording, the Stuttgart Philharmonic conducted by Gabriel Feltz performs Gustav Mahler's 4th symphony featuring soprano Jeannette Wernecke. She was the youngest finalist at the 2002 National Singing Competition in Berlin and won the 2004 second Price competition in the country North Rhine-Westphalia.
