Future Shock, the band's fourth studio album, was released by Virgin in 1981 and peaked at No. 2 on the UK album chart Gillan's highest ever placement. The title track hits like a sledgehammer, Lucitania Express demands a full throated chorus singalong, and the Top of the Pops featured single No Laughing In Heaven delivers a smirk worthy blend of sharp lyrics and pseudo rap.
