Explicit Lyrics-REISSUE

Inspired by a particularly memorable post-gig night out in 2011, Graham's eighth solo album A+E jerked to the nu-rave shapes and post-punk angles of the wave of bands who'd later fall under the indie sleaze umbrella. On tracks like the throbbing 'City Hall' and 'Meet And Drink And Pollinate's robo-punk, Graham and producer Ben Hillier drew a line from the present back to late '70s/early '80s outliers Magazine, Wire and Cabaret Voltaire.'My band had played a gig at the sadly no more Leeds Cockpit, and there was this club night afterwards,' remembers Graham. 'Everything they were playing sounded amazing. It was all new stuff, and the kids looked so cool. It made a really big impression on me, and A+E was sort of based on what I thought I was hearing that night. It didn't give a fuck it was just riffs in your face and was very mischievous.'what really propels these songs is Coxon's ineffable talent for pop melody The Guardian one of the best albums of his career a pop record with dangerously anti-social tendencies NME Available as part of a comprehensive solo catalogue reissue campaign via TransgressiveFaithfully reproduced packaging.Follows Coxon's first two waves of reissues this year, which included the critically acclaimed unreleased studio album Castle Park (reached #6 on the OCC Independent Chart)5-date UK tour in November including SOLD OUT Kentish Town ForumConfirmed media coverage still to run includes a feature in The Observer and live session for BBC 6Music (Marc Riley & Gideon Coe)
