TWO NORTHERN SOUL WIGAN CASINO CLASSICS'Once' was written and produced by the legendary Teddy Vann who scored countless Northern Soul classics of which this is certainly one. A massive Wigan Casino spin that has been largely overlooked in more recent times. Hale also recorded under the name Tony Fox and had a latter-day Casino spin with 'Love, Let Love And Be Loved' courtesy of DJ Richard Searling. 'He'll Never Love You Like I Do' by rock and roll singer Charlie Gracie was another Casino floor-packer and, like the aforementioned 'Once' was recorded for the Diamond label in the mid-Sixties.
