Limited yellow colored vinyl LP pressing. Upon achieving massive success as founding members of the Jefferson Airplane, longtime friends Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady would soon look for other ways to expand their love of traditional blues and rock, evolving into the inventive and successful Hot Tuna. One of the first jam bands of it's kind, the duo has continued either acoustically or as full-tilt rockers for over five decades now, and their importance is measured by their amazing run of chart albums and concerts going back to the late sixties. Their sixth album, Yellow Fever, would be released in 1975, and it also was their second power trio outing following their hit America's Choice. Yellow Fever features Rock Hall of Famer Jorma Kaukonen's stunning vocal and lead guitar artistry, Rock Hall of Famer Jack Casady's powerful, intricate bass, and Bob Steeler's return as the band's drummer.
