Digitally remastered edition of this album from the singer, songwriter and actor. First rising to prominence as a songwriter, Hoyt Axton carved out successful careers as a singer and actor as well, routed equally in country, folk, and pop. This album was originally released in 1969 featuring on lead guitar the legendary James Burton. Highlights include 'Beelzebub's Laughter', and the original version of his classic 'Snow Blind Friend'. To promote the album Axton toured opening for Three Dog Night. The band heard his song 'Joy to the World', recorded it, and it topped the charts as a #1 in the spring of 1971.
