Southern California blues sensation Nathan James breaks out big with his first-ever national release for Delta Groove. Backed by his ever-faithful band The Rhythm Scratchers, consisting of Troy Sandow on harmonica & bass and Marty Dodson on drums, Nathan stomps, hollers and scratches his way through a selection of mostly original amplified juke joint and uptown blues. Along the way he showcases many of his exclusive homemade instruments including the Washtar Gitboard (washboard guitar) and Tri-Tar (3-string baritone washboard guitar). Special guest vocalist/harmonica player James Harman joins in on the proceedings for the whimsical self-penned tale "Rhino Horn."
