One of Rock 'n' Roll's most energetic and influential pioneers, the legendary Johnny Burnette (who died tragically in a boating accident in 1964) was in the same league as the best stars from Sun Records. He played a similar brand of spare yet fiery Rockabilly as his contemporaries Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley. His music was rebellious and always exuberant. The Rock'n'Roll Trio, comprised of brothers Johnny and Dorsey Burnette and visionary lead guitarist Paul Burlison, are considered the most underrated rockabilly group of all time. This quintessential collector's edition includes Johnny Burnette's two finest albums: Johnny Burnette and the Rock'n'Roll Trio (1956) and Dreamin' (1960). Both masterpieces have been packaged together in this very special release, which also includes 8 bonus tracks from the same period. Hoo Doo Records.
