Knocker Jungle: Knocker Jungle
Title: Knocker Jungle
Artist: Knocker Jungle
Label: Acrobat
Product Type: COMPACT DISCS
UPC: 824046428624
Genre: Folk
2008 reissue of perhaps the rarest album on Ember Records. The band had already taken their collaboration as far as their individual musical tastes would allow and had split before it was released. Further, due to an "offensive hand signal" inside the cover, many shops refused to stock it. As a result it was completely withdrawn from sale almost immediately after release, with only a tiny handful of pressings ever sold! Adding to this veneer of mystery is that very little is known about the artists prior to the release of the album and certainly not after. Beyond a Spanish only single containing two tracks from the album, and gigs in the seedy confines of Wardour Street's "The Temple", the duo have proved to be immune from the Google age. It is this scarcity that seems to be stoking the flames of interest and adding to the mystic! Acrobat.
Tracks:
1.1 I Don't Know Why
1.2 Oh to Be Free
1.3 Caught a Cold Last Night
1.4 I've Got Time
1.5 Not Even a Letter
1.6 Ecclesiastes
1.7 Reality
1.8 You've Lost Your Love for Me
1.9 Amanda
1.10 Sunburnt Virgin Trousers
1.11 Impossible You
1.12 Where I Belong
1.13 It Ain't Necessarily So
1.14 Oh My
