CD reissue of this album from the late jazz great. The Restful Mind was released in 1975 on Vanguard Records. Playing with him on this album are three members of the group Oregon. Ralph Towner on guitar, Glen Moore on bass, and Collin Walcott on percussion. The album reached 35 on the jazz albums chart. Larry Coryell was an American jazz guitarist known as the "Godfather of Fusion". He was one of the pioneers of jazz-fusion with his group The Eleventh House. He recorded numerous albums on the Vanguard label all through the 1970s.
