Local Suicide, aka Munich's Brax Moody and Greek-born Vamparela, has it in spades. With it's swerving bass slithering over a slow tempo, "Leopard Gum" is the perfect slow burner. The synths that come crashing across the track's Smagghe & Cross remix add their saturated signature that provide a different kind of hook through it's breathless nine-minute run. The same measured tempo is found once more on the more ethereal "Already There", where Local Suicide affirm their adherence to the more captivating signatures of new wave and post disco. Lauer adds a surprising electro pop shimmer to the track.
