Maestro Rubalcaba is a leading figure in the famous Buena Vista Social Club, one of Cuba's musical treasures. Luiz Frank Arias sang with the groups Sierra Maestra and the Afro-Cuban Allstars and is recognized as one of Cuba's top vocalists. Both men got together to present a song festival using only piano and vocals and it was an overwhelming success prompting them to record this superb album.
