Lyle talks about his attitude to success and his early days in Nashville. Irony and humour are an important part of his song writing and he is comfortable in England, he enjoys the response to his music in the UK. An observer of life and not afraid to write silly songs and on the other hand writing more for himself, the inner thoughts of Lyle. Is his future in acting? 'The Player' is a Robert Altman classic and in 'Short Cuts' he enjoyed the process of film. He has a great attitude to reviews and might just be why he did not follow his education into journalism. Very much an honest performer. Playing live he finds much easier to connect with his songs and the audience.
