Masayoshi Takanaka's memorable first single "Sweet Agnes," originally released in 1976, returns as an 8cm CD reissue. The title track is a summer-perfect fusion classic written as the theme song for the short film "Taiyo no Koibito Agnes Lamb," released that same year. The coupling track, "Tokyo Reggie," written by Yukihiro Takahashi and featured in the film, is a standout city pop tune featuring vocals by Takanaka himself and is taken from his debut album "Seychelles," which has enjoyed growing popularity with international audiences in recent years.
