?"... Ne quid nimis", "nothing more than the necessary... " - so in the early twentieth century the philosopher Ortega y Gasset expressed his idea of a "suprarealist" art, an aesthetic capable of overcoming the sentimental sublimation of late Romanticism or positivistic Realism.
