Title: Percussionata
Artist: Moya, Monte
Label: Essential Media Mod
Product Type: COMPACT DISCS
UPC: 894231466021
Genre: Latin Jazz

An ultra-rare exotica album originally released in 1963, Monte Moya & the Surfers' "Percussionata" is high on the list of many exotica collectors and commands high dollar on auction sites when an original LP copy becomes available. Sounding like a cross between the Latin fueled jazz of Cal Tjader and the mellow exotica of Arthur Lyman, "Percussionata" sounds as fresh today as it did when first released, largely thanks to the audiophile quality of the original recordings. Finally available in the digital domain, all selections have been newly remastered.
