They made a number of acclaimed albums, includeing this one for Mercury Records, while supporting the likes of Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix at the Fillmore. They were discovered and mentored by Sam Charters (producer of Country Joe And The Fish) shortly after the release of Poor Mans Paradise, Tracy Nelson was nominated for a Grammy for her duet witWillie Nelson for the song"After The Fire Has Gone"Tracy went solo after the demise of Mother Earth she continues to tour and record to this day
