The Pearlfishers proudly announce the release of the 7 single, the Umbrellas of Shibuya, taken from their album, Up with the Larks. This 7 is strictly limited and available on white vinyl. The Umbrellas of Shibuya takes it's reference point from Michel Legrand's classic movie opera, the Umbrellas of Cherbourg, but locates itself in a Tokyo rainstorm - with neon puddles, painted in Morricone banjos, Sakamoto synth blooms, Nilsson mouth music and David Scott's unique sense of melody and structure. The B-side features the exclusive new track, Clumsy.
