Jamaican born Precious Wilson spent most of her formative years living in the UK, and then the USA, where as a teen where she developed her soulful voice through gospel singing. Returning to the UK Wilson joined the all-male vocal group Eruption as a backing singer, only to take the reigns as lead vocalist when the spot quickly became available. Relocating to Germany the group caught the attention of Boney M producer Frank Farian who signed them to his Hansa label. Following on from BBR's re-issues of Eruption's first two releases, Hot Shot Records are proud to present the expanded and remastered edition of On The Race Track by Precious Wilson. Complete with extensive liner notes and several extended disco versions of the classic Eruption singles this is a must have for all R&B, Disco, Dance and Pop fans.
