Hailing from Havana, Cuba, the visionary DJ, producer, artist Raphox currently resides just north of his roots in Miami, Florida where he has immersed himself in the deep house scene and seeks to explore the connections between the dub scene that originated just south of Cuba, in Jamaica, with it's rhythmic roots that connect the two islands. Raphox has found a willing accomplice in the Jamaican born Prince Dubb I, whose hypnotic voice and conscious lyrics provide just the right foundation for Raphox's adventurous rhythmic pursuit. Together, the two have earned high accolades for their recent output since they first dropped the infectious Rastaunauts single, which explores the space-time continuum through the lens of deep dub. Their latest single, No Se Diga Mas (Dread Star Liner) continues that adventure with the opening lines delivered by Prince Dubb I: Mission Control, this is the Dread Star Liner, dread at the controls, I am the dub designer. I have come to show you that the arc of justice is true no matter how dem turn the screw. What follows next is the deepest dub, accompanied by some Rasta freestyle - a truly worthy exploration. The new single features the original mix, plus instrumental and acappella versions as an added bonus. Expect much more to come from this righteous alliance.
