Blood Moon is the most diverse album from the band to date and features 8 brand new tracks. The opening track 'Fall On Your Own Sword' continuing with the heavier side of the band that really came to the fore on the previous album 'Inverted Reality'. This is immediately followed by 'When The World Burns', an atmospheric song built around a classical guitar motif that continually builds in intensity until resolving to where it began. The album also features two instrumental tracks as well as a lighter more laidback sound in the track 'Start Again'. There is a return to the theme of 'Tales From The Bookcase' album as the track 'The Baron's Eyes' is based on another Sherlock Holmes story, 'The Illustrious Client'. Pete stated "It was cool to put another Holmes story in to music". 'Over' is a track that features Pete Jones flexing is vocal muscles and the album concludes with the title track 'Blood Moon' which is the full on prog epic, combining all the elements that Red Bazar have become known for.
