Son of the famed Cuban emigre pianist, composer and bandleader Luis Santi, Luis Santi, Jr. Joined his famous father's band as a teenager and grew to become a featured vocalist in the highly revered, long running Miami-based Salsa outfit. His years in his father's band served him well as Santi, Jr. #grew into a well-respected musician in his own right, continuing the great tradition of Cuban flavored salsa music in South Florida. A recently unearthed, previously unreleased single recorded in the Magic City in 1990, "El Asesino" b/w "Mambo Inferno" finds Santi Jr. #at the top of his game, leading a tight salsa band and (pardon the puns) positively killin' it (El Asesino: The Assassin) and burnin' down the house ("Mambo Inferno"). As a bonus, we have included the T.V. track mixes for both tunes containing instrumental versions of both tracks with background vocals left intact, inviting the listener to take the lead and sing along.
